Comments:

Flex 6400, AL-80B, 900 watts to Classic 33 pointed due north, operated remote
from my car. Flex Radio has fixed a problem they had with their previous
release of Smart SDR that didn't allow me to connect remotely through my Samsung
S7 hotspot and using my Flex Maestro. I worked 10 contacts in 12 minutes parked
in Lady Lake, FL where WB2VYK had an eye appt. I then did some shopping,
managed 3 MIM contacts (mobile in motion) on my way back to pick her up, and
drove back to Ocala. I gave her the chance to operate while I was driving but
she declined. Back in Ocala I linked to our home wifi and made 11 more contacts
in the final 12 minutes. Nice to know I don't have to be home to get credit for
a session. Biggest problem running the Amp on 20 is I can't change bands and I
can't rotate the beam. Next time I will connect my 80/40 dipole/inverted vee to
Ant 2 which I can switch to from the Maestro, and leave the amp off. That will
also allow me to set the delay to 0 instead of 250 ms to keep the amp relay
quieter. I am getting a true 100 watts output from the Flex 6400. See you at
0300 here at the home station.
