Wow. 40m was good and 80m was terrible. Still, lots of activity and some (me
included) really hung in there getting their calls through the QRN.
I've made a 40wpm CW 'tape' of all the calls of CWT'ers over the past few years.
I play it in the car hoping it will help with callsign recognition. I think it
has. I had a circumstance this evening where all I heard was the tail end of a
station's exchange and I immediately knew who it was. What I heard was
"..85". What I entered in the callsign field was WJ9B. Sure enough, he
rogered the other guy and I jumped on him. I love when things happen like that.
