Comments:
Well, didn't plan this one then I managed to have some spare time to dedicate to
it and tried to run some frequencies with 100W and wires.
Propagation dropped badly on saturday night and kept being bad till the end of
the contest even if 10m showed some sign of action (managed to move LZ9W from 15
to 10 and he had a great signal, thanks!). It has been mostly a CW contest for
me. Did some SSB contacts on sunday and only few RTTY contacts at the very end
of the contest. I am definitely not an RTTY enthusiast and, in order to be more
competitive I should have done more RTTY for sure.
As a side note. On Sunday the RBN went down and I found myself CQing restlessly
for hours without ANY taker. I think nowadays we rely too much on technology.
It's crazy that, if I don't get skimmered, noone will ever find me. There's a
huge knob in your radio, use it to tune the band and find your contacts on your
own!
