Comments:
Major cockpit error here. My 15 meter antennas when set to KLM beam position
(and with associated coax phasing lines), actually has a low SWR on 40 meters.
Took radio from 15 meters to 40 meters, and since SWR was good did not notice
antenna switch was still on 15 meter beam! SWR meter looked fine and did work
N3BB so figured everything was cool. And signals were weak but figured just
conditions. Got beat out of several jump balls in a row over the next few
minutes before I finally realized what had happened. Duh!
