Comments:

That was fun!

I have been getting the station ready for more serious capabilities over the
past year, with an introduction to SO2R and having added switchable tribanders
to SA and EU. While I didn't have a chance to tune the 80/160 phased verticals,
the station was ready with new Triplexers and filters from Pavel VA6AM.

This has been on the calendar since last fall. It was my first "full
time" effort in a 48-hour weekend contest in many years, where I kept BIC
for the full allotted time. Conditions seemed superb for the most part, and at
the end of the contest, I could hear EU, SA, and New Zealand coming in at one
time on 15m - that hasn't happened in a while. Was very nice to be able to hold
a frequency on 20m barefoot for the Saturday evening Asian opening- 20m seemed
quiet most of the weekend and it had the feeling that any station could call in
from any part of the world at any time.

Thanks for the q's and the fun, and thanks to N4GU and the Carolina Contesters
for the use of NN3U.
