Comments:
Amp Supply LK550: if you have irregularities with one
of these series amplifiers, please go through the solder
joints of the switch decks. All irregularities in tuning
of the recent week have now been cured. After more than
30 years solder was missing from several contacts, and
wires were just hanging against the lips of the decks.
W1TO was definitely by far the strongest Stateside today.
In addition just worked N4AF and KK7A. Checked the other
bands too early: at 1325Z nil, but 10 worked on 7 MHz in
the last 10 minutes. On 14 MHz short skip to all of Southern
Sweden during the first 15 minutes. Still working with the
18 m tall vertical on all bands... Last week's OH4BCS on the
hilltop may have been confusing. The road has gone very poor
there, so visits have to be limited I guess. Cheers/73, Zaba
