Comments:
"SO2R" in the sense that I used one xcvr for FT8, and the other for
CW/SSB, rather than fight with COM port sharing between WSJT-X and N1MM
In and out of the shack this weekend. Nice opening Sunday.
32 CW Q's, 45 FT8 Q's, 12 USB Q's. I wish more FT8 ops remembered that their
radio has a big knob. There were plenty of times during the contest where one
or two relatively local hilltop operations, presumably running power, made a
mess of the FT8 watering hole from my perspective -- they were so strong that
with normal settings I had a mess of audio harmonics, and various attempts at
filtering, gain adjustment, or dial-tweaking met with only limited success.
Had fun, aside from wishing I had an amp.
Station: 2×K3, H double-bay antenna @ 50' up in tree for 6m
