doesn't include the bonus which will add 100% emergency power, natural power
qsos, and the FD message copy on RTTY.
For some reason, I decided to put up the extension ladder 6 m beam again for
this weekend, then didn't bother to use it. I also keep expecting that I should
do some SSB, but after I make a few QSOs, I realize that's crazy and go back to
CW. I did try FT8 for one QSO, but the expected mess of no formal messages for
FD made that pretty useless. I also setup RTTY so I could copy the FD message,
so I made a few QSOs there too.
Pretty fun anyway, but if I do this again, I may opt for a better 40 meter
antenna, and add a 3rd Beverage. Staying up later might help too!
80 meter OCF in a tree
pair of 200' beverages (can't hear at all without them due to the static on all
bands below 15).
