Comments:
Got a special callsign reserved for Field Day and Canada Day hoping that club
members would be interested in a multi-op effort. It was not to be, so I dragged
my tribander and dipoles up to our club's repeater site on Vancouver Island.
Conditions were pretty good on 40m and 20m , activity was a bit low on 80m, 15
barely opened and 10m was dead. Being at 4000' helped with the 2m tally.
Rig was a borrowed TS-2000 for HF and an FT-736 for VHF. I used a dipole on 80m
and 40m and a tribander for 20 and up.
Thanks for all the QSOs hopefully the special callsign wasn't too much of a
distraction.
See you all in 2019!
73,
Gabor, VE7JH
