Comments:
Had a blast using an K4CG (the U. S. Coast Guard military recreational call)that
Eric KB6YNO, who is the trustee of the call, and president of the Coast Guard
club has granted us permission to use the call for this contest. Unfortunately
Dave, KC3BXK, became ill, so what was to be a multi-single contest turned into a
single op...and I just dont have the stamina to hang...so only about 11 hours.
Thanks for the use of the call Eric.
Again a load of fun, and great hearing the old Y8 calls again. Brought back
many memories.
We may use the call in the future...as so many PVRC members have operated using
the call.
