Comments:

I've confirmed that I'm an addict to radio contests and special events. Once I
sit down in front of the radio, I'm stuck.
My intention was to work only a few hours, scrape 100 or so contacts and call it
a day to get more rest after having had a sinus operation earlier in the week.
And the 20M lackluster performance in the morning and early afternoon almost
made me stop...BUT I hadn't made my goal of 100. Keep scratching; change bands
to 15M for a bit; make 100, but now I'm getting on a roll. Ergo, I am hooked
again. :-) Lunch break and back to 20M where things are FINALLY beginning to
open to EU. Can't stop now; there are all those Y8's to work and who need
points. New goal is to hang onto 20M until the dinner break, work Y8's, HQ
stations, and anyone else I can convince to make an exchange with me. Then,
after dinner, start on 40M. It's a plan with a new goal of 100 contacts on 40M.
Easily achieved and also made many more Y8 contacts. If nothing else I have
proved that working EU on 40M with my low dipole isn't as hard as I believed.
However, that same loaded dipole is but a cloud warmer on 80M, as my log proves.
The few EU contacts I made on 80M were with super stations who scraped and
scratched to get my call sign. The rest were with K and VE stations. Might have
been better to have stayed on 40M a while longer.
So, Yes, I am a Radio Addict. And today I am OK with that. IARU/WRTC2018 was a
good bit of fun, mediocre band condx notwithstanding. I'm eagerly awaiting the
results of WRTC2018.

73 es TU for all the Qs
