Comments:
I hadn't signed up for a team because I wasn't sure I would be able to get on
for the contest. Fortunately, I found some time and was able to make a few
contacts for the SMC. When I started up N1MM+ I had to completely reconfigure
the digital interface because I recently had to upgrade to a new computer. It
took about 30 minutes before I was able to receive RTTY. It took another 15
minutes to figure out why my FSK interface was not working. I finally
discovered that Windows 10 had re-assigned the FSK Comm port to a different
number. Once I entered the correct Comm port in MMTTY I was able to send FSK.
I haven't operated RTTY very much so it took me a while to get the hang of
tuning in stations. Once I figured that out made a few contacts on 40 meters
and then moved up to 20 where there was more activity.
