As usual we worked too few multipliers. The pile were really fierce most of the
time.
>From the start the 20m would not turn. So we worked the whole contest with the
20m beam pointing north. We left one rig on this band for the whole contest as
the band never closed. The IC-7610 worked beautifully.
The IC-756 Pro3 also performed very well, also continually on run mode, never
relenting. The pile up themselves were at times the biggest setback. We have to
harvest such situations better.
We also slept a good 5 hours, when we closed down from 24hrs to about 6am
local.
We never attempted 80m.
In spite of all the setbacks and mistakes, we had a great time and everybody was
in very good spirits.
One day we will really try to get a good score.
Sincere thanks to the operators who had to withstand the heat and somewhat
spartan conditions.
