Comments:
Saturday was a busy day. At 1500z, I spent four hours doing a hapkido seminar,
and then Grandmaster Moreland fed us dinner. I drove home, then had a take a
soaking bath to get the soreness out of my body. I didn't go down to the shack
until about 0030z.
The setup here in Atlanta is somewhat improvised. Just the one dipole. Because
N1MM+ constantly complained about sending CW through the prolific chipset, I
installed a WinKeyer-Serial on second serial port. Hooking it up required me to
build a cable, which took some doing. I was also confused that the LED wouldn't
light up when it was keying (I've since figured out the LED is connected to the
side-tone).
N1MM+ wasn't very clear how to set up the WinKeyer.
By the time I got it all going, it was about 0130z. The KAT100 was being
cantankerous and wouldn't tune correctly.
Stayed on for most of an hour, handing out a few Qs.
I've been doing too much FT8 lately, as my CW was really rusty. Didn't feel up
to trying any runs, so I stuck with S & P. Around 0200z, was feeling really,
really tired, so I bagged it.
