Comments:
Well, there you have it... I finally broke 100 Q's in a CWT!
Started out on 20 and found the band to be quiet and in great shape. When rates
slowed down I went to 40. Signals weren't as loud but the band was quiet and I
found a place to run successfully. As soon as I went without a call after two
CQ's I went to 80, perhaps a bit prematurely. Found an open frequency on 80 but
never established much of a rhythm. The band was quiet enough but signals
weren't that strong. It wasn't until the last 5 minutes that I started searching
for the last few Q's I needed to break 100.
Thanks everyone for a very enjoyable night. A personal best for me. Now I'll
have a hard time falling asleep!
73, Tom
