Comments:
We planned on activating two more grids but our plans were torched when we could
not make it to our Saturday overnight at the W2CCC superstation early enough.
This led to a late wake up call and we arrived at our first grid stop on Sunday
virtually 3 hours late!
In the end we did add FN33 but we need to investigate better locations in FN32
and FN33. FN11 was interesting as I-88 just dips below the state line into PA
for a short section and we managed two Qs while mobile.
Given the mundane RF propagation and low activity it is hard to gauge our
performance with prior years. It seems like we've really left the door open for
someone to end what could otherwise be our eight straight 1st place US/CAN
Limited Rover title.
Reading the KF2MR/R post here on 3830 I now have the itch to add back the other
6 bands as higher band activity seems to be on brisk rise.
73,
Mark K2QO and Dick K2ZR, aka NF2RS/R
