This was a [literally] last minute remote operation from NX6T in Fallbrook.
I had a late start as I was working WAQP (Salmon Run) stations and SAC
Scandinavian stations on CW before/during the RTTY GiG.
Even tho it IS a SPRINT contest, I was surprised how many callers
were WAY OFF frequency. Because I was running remote I had no access
to a RIT control to tune them in. If they figured it out and got on
frequency then we made a QSO.
I ran Station #1 (@NX6T) into an ACOM 2000a amp dialed back to about
375 watts in a C-31 Yagi (for 20), a 2-el Shorty-40 and a droopy 80-meter
bazooka inverted vee, all about 13mh, with Fallbrook approx 900' above
sea level.
