20 was dead at the beginning. So picked 40
7.037.16 Flex 6600, AL1200, (1000w) inverted vee at 35 ft. SteppIR 18e at 84
ft. which I did not use because the SWR (as always) was 2.5:1 on 40 cw. Perfect
temperature, light, and breeze in the shack. 35 wpm
80 QSOs at 1327Z
90 QSOs @ 1330. Never had such a good half hour. Lots of 3 & 4 QSOs a
minute and even a 5 QSO minute!
Much slower the second half hour. There were still plenty of signals, but I must
have reached a saturation point. 20 had almost no signals, so stayed on 40.
At 1343Z 116 QSOs. 1347Z - 126; 1349Z - 128. It was good to see lots of new
guys trying out CWT.
