Got to the hilltop at 6 PM and finished assembling the newly acquired antenna at
7 PM. These were a pair of H-plane stacked FO-25 Yagis, part of a bigger system
formerly used at K2LIM multi-op. These are a lot of fun and I immediately
noticed the extra 3 dB over the smaller stack of FO-15's that I would ordinarily
use when operating portable. Best DX was 340 mi / 547 km to Virginia station
WA4LM FM27 who was easy copy on SSB.
