40 meters was the band for me today. Late start as I went out to the FRRL site
in Naperville. It was too windy and cold so I came home. I found a spot on 40
and called CQ. whoa they came out of the woodwork! It started about 2144 Z and
lasted until about 2214Z. When I looked at the rate it was 61 per hour! It was
hectic trying to pick out the calls. I did make a few mistakes but this is only
the second time I've run a frequency ever. Thanks for the Q's it was fun! I am
not really set up for 80 meters, but the highlight on 80 was working K9CT which
is amazing as he had a hard time hearing me. Thanks Craig!
