Comments:
Band conditions were far better than expected. After all competitive recent
years in SS CW were QRP, I decided to play with power but stay unassisted.
QRP/LP band pass filters did not effectively support HP SO2R so it was a
one-radio slog with occasional use of the other radio to view band conditions
and make the occasional other band Q but not enough to call it SO2R. Life got
very boring after a few hours of easy single-radio runs and
"first-call" S&P so I took a lot of breaks and ducked out early to
more pleasant Autumn pursuits on a beautiful Sunday. Never heard NL or VI but
didn't hunt extra hard. Maybe motivation will return by CQ WW CW at VP5M!
