Comments:
Interesting propagation. First Day, 20 was OK during dayligh. 40 and 80 both
went long with medium to high absorption, so making contacts was a bit tough.
Sunday propagation was great, 15 even was marginally productive.
Main antenna is derelict, so used a portable antenna I usually use for
activating parks on the air. It was OK on 40 and 20, but marginal on 80
meters.
Did an 45 minute "run" late Sunday afternoon on 40 on 7010 KHz.
Called CQ SS for those 45 minutes and managed 28 Q's. Very enjoyable seeing
"big guns" seeking li'l olde me!
