Comments:

This was a different approach to my favorite CW contest, the November
Sweepstakes. In between remote operating stints for NX6T I found pockets of
time to put WQ6X on the air from W7AYT's QTH in Concord Ca. (EB Section)
This was the first time the [newly acquired] RigExpert Plus was put into contest
use with the Yaesu FT-1000mp. The WINKEYER logic in the Plus unit was quite
superb; better I think than the FT-1000mp's keyer facility.
For additional QRM reduction, a pair of Autek QF-1a filters and a JPS NIR-12 DSP
unit created TRUE Stereo Cw, with low-pitched signals in the left ear and
high-pitched signals in the right. Combined with the Yaesu's RIT control, the
QRM situation was easily brought under control.
Antenna-wise, a CH-250 vertical and a newly-modified WQ6X Lazy 8JK Sloper
(with tuned feeders as well as coax feed).
