Comments:
Missed NNY - KP2 - KP4 - VY1. Never heard any of these, even though I was quite
active running with S & P in between CQ's. No pile ups noted during many
times searching on each band ... however, a few hours before the start, I did
have a nice QSO with Gerry operating remote the VY1AAA station. Also, at one
minute after the end, I hear NP4Z signing off on 40 ... I guess I should have
done more zig and zagging. There is nothing that can fix this great operating
event. If it ain't broke ... don't fix it. That said, a few more thousand or
more stations being active would surely be nice! I had some figuring out my op
times so I could watch my favorite NFL team and still operate the full 24 hours.
Thanks to all for the Q's and multipliers ... this is truly one of my favorite
contests since 1959. Many checks of "49" honoring our friend Rev Paul
Bittner, W0AIH ... may he rest in peace. I hope to see you all again next year.
