Comments:
Well, almost gave this one up. Started on 20M, and was so frustrated, till I
found out I was transmitting on my 80 meter loop, rather than my beam. Saturday
was complete frustration to me, to the point that I wasn't even trying to be
competitive. I thought signals on both 40 and 80 Saturday were terrible. Made
about 300 Q's and went to bed. Woke up Sunday, to a totally different scenario.
Bands seemed to be hopping, and got me involved again. But, it's a long
contest and was watching a lot of football at the same time. Then,
"met" up with W8MET on 75M and noticed we were very close in score.
That gave me some motivation for the last three hours, that I probably wouldn't
have had. Overall, I did considerably worse than last year. Not sure if that
will be the case with everyone or not. But, it wound up being quite fun and
thanks all for the Q's.
