Comments:
Before contest i found that only 1 of the 8 beverages was intact. Luckily no
snow on ground yet. Repaired the 60 deg beverage that was broken after 70m. Put
a lot of toroids on the feeder lines for the 3 remaining beverages, and local
noise went down from about s5 to s1-s2. Ready to go.
Conditions were quite good, especially to NA after about 03z both nights when it
opened up better here. 107 USA in log. Worse to Asia, only 4 JA worked.
Conditions during day was ok, but hard to get any DX-QSO, think those at s5-s7
did not hear me because of using beverages directed elsewhere.
Thanks for QSOs and thanks to Mike having the shack ready for the last time in
the house. Next contest planned to be from the new building.
ANT: 160m: 39m vertical, 3 short beverages 280 330 and 60 deg and a HI-z 4-sq
which i did not use.
