Comments:
The contest is over and we are back on regular track.
The whole trip was again a great success and we enjoyed time being together.
Fourth year in a row from Corsica as TK0C and third year as M/2 in a field day
style.
Pre-contest goals were to have fun, improve QSO/h rate and reach at least last
year score.
The fun we had, best QSO/h rate was improved to 573 QSO/h, but with "clean
sun" we fail to reach last year result.
Tnx ES9C, EC2DX and others for nice online competition. We never had a chance to
relax. We encourage everyone to post score @cqcontest.net and give more F1
dimension to the competition. :)
In general, no sunspots resulted in amazing low bands, but poor 15m and
non-existent 10m condition. Compared to 2017 we logged almost 1000 QSO less on
15m, but 100 more on 160 and almost 500 more on 80m. On 40m there was just one
QSO more compared to the previous year.
