Comments:
Even though my score was lower than last year I consider this year a success.
Excellent conditions despite very strong QRN from approaching storms from the
south west both nights. Some EU stations were as strong as state side stations.
No issues with equipment.
I made some improvements with my TX antenna and it showed. I managed to work
more 5 pointers and work more countries than last year. I had a stronger signal
to EU. I also fixed my long time severe local RFI issue just hours before the
contest. I just had trouble getting into a good rhythm to put more Q's in the
log.
Flex 6600M @ 1KW with simple wire antennas in a 50x90 foot space.
Thanks,
Joe
