Tried out V2.0RC5 for a few hours before starting my shift in the ARRL 160 Meter
Contest going on the same weekend. This is a great start on FT8 as a contest
mode. Hopefully the development team can exploit the multi-streaming capability
that was developed for the DXpedition Mode and include it in some fashion in the
FT8 Contest Mode. And, this FT8 Roundup Contest format is a natural for
operating SO2R. Wouldn't this be much more interesting if you could be operating
two radio positions with up to five simultaneous QSOs ongoing on two bands at
the same time. That might get the rates up to some interesting levels.
