Comments:
40 was a struggle. Lots of CQ without answers. Band did not seem to have
coverage of much of the USA. 80 was good. 91 QSO in the last 34 minutes,
although started a bit slow. 1/4 vert and inverted vee seemed about the same.
Beverage was good for the couple Europeans who called in.
Put up the SAL30 pole and wires today with son and wife. Couplers, combiner,
straightening guys, and coax are next. Lots of deer poop, and inch of rain
predicted, and 40 MPH winds expected overnight. Hope it survives tonight. I
have been working on wiring and mounting things to the ground sheet in the
garage. Plenty of exercise today.
