Comments:
A little part-time operation from my parents' house while visiting for
Christmas.
FT950 @ 100w
80m Doublet @ 30' through an MFJ tuner
My available time favored the low bands, obviously. I operated about three hours
from 0100 - 0400z on Friday night local, then grabbed a few minutes here and
there while the kids were awake today. I enjoy this contest and heard some good
numbers from those who operated seriously. I never managed to hear VY0, VY1, or
VE8. I heard VO2 and VO1 briefly but couldn't break the pileup.
I talked my dad into coming up to share the headphones for about 20 minutes this
afternoon, hence the M/S category.
