Comments:
Quite a bunch of new USA calls initiating the
New Year on 14 MHz. Most signals on a few dB
margin to copy. Fortunate to have the one tube
extra (+2 dB) for transmit on the 18 m vertical.
Had to listen through a 15 Q pile-up on Bud/AA3B
before getting through. Skip was long: could not
hear any of the stations on the European end...
VE3KI peaked for a couple of minutes around 1350Z,
but no QSO. Then went to 7 MHz for six Europeans...
