Comments:
Tested the mobile installation after a long break
before driving from OH3BCX to OH2MZA. The vertical
matched earlier on 14/18 MHz on the TS-480S tuner
but not this time (happens mostly in cold weather).
So I extended the whip with 100 cm of 3 mm AlMgSi
and got thus a better efficiency as well. Quite
satisfied with the number of USA-dx worked from
the lakeside. Apologies to K4QS: pushed the TS-480
memory button too long: paralyzed for TX (REC)....
