Ugh! I really don't much like phone, and when you have S 9+ line noise on all
bands it becomes really painful. We were supposed to have heavy rain starting
yesterday afternoon at 1 PM Eastern time, but it didn't happen. This morning,
after a night of rain, the noise is down to S 3-4. Positively idyllic.
But anyhow, did what I could for the club. One bonus was the discovery that my
KPA-1500 antenna tuner could match my K-3 on 160 to my Carolina windom (or at
least to the 200-foot coax feedline). Got a few QSOs to prove that it at least
gets out a little.
