Comments:

Highlights:
- Thanks & Kudos to K1JT and the entire WSJT development team. v2.0.0
really moved the ball forward. The days of "funny numbers" trashing
FT8 contest exchanges appear to be over...woohoo!
- Brief 6m Es to FL on Sunday...managed to work a couple and had a few other
almost completions.
- Good local activity...quite a few rovers + a good showing from SMC members
showing up after NAQP and getting on around the AFC/NFC title games.
- Working Marshall/W9RVG on 3 bands...not a usual event here so must've had some
enhancement to the south.
- Working AC0RA/R from all of his stops on 6m. VERY lucky to have Wyatt
lighting up hard to work grids!
- Timing of the weather/contest...if the contest was held today or if today's
weather struck over the weekend the total would be 0x0...1/2 inch of snow/ice
combo on the antennas this AM!

Lowlights:
- 2/432 antenna was iced up for the first ~5 hours of the contest. Not sure if
it was due to lots of rotator spinning or a miracle wind gust but the antennas
"recovered" around 6PM local and never had another issue. My 2/432
antenna has many nooks/crannies for snow and ice to hide, already thinking about
upgrades and alternate designs.
- Sunday powerline QRN was S9+ on 6m and S3-S4 on 2m for most of the daylight
hours on Sunday. The very low humidity and clear sky had multiple sources
absolutely screaming...worst I've ever heard it at this QTH. Fingers crossed
that ComEd will respond before Es season!
- How do we unglue people from 6m FT8? Like others have noted, locals with good
2m & up stations were never heard on those bands.

Gear:

5 el/8 el interlaced 2/432 yagi @ ~25'
