Comments:

SOAPBOX: This was my first CQ160 from home and my goal was a quick'n dirty WAS
SOAPBOX: 160, so I decided to go Assisted. Spoiler alert: looks like no one
SOAPBOX: from SD could be bothered to participate, so that kept me from
SOAPBOX: popping the bubbly and calling it a day Friday night. Due to my
SOAPBOX: mission and not yet having a good Rx antenna, I focused on domestic
SOAPBOX: QSOs until I ran out of steam Saturday morning. The band was quiet and
SOAPBOX: reliable, so it was fun and I got to work everybody and his brother. I
SOAPBOX: thought Saturday night would be worse, due to some incoming bad WX,
SOAPBOX: but I was mistaken. CONDX remained solid and the only thing that was
SOAPBOX: missing was more Ws, so I went chasing some DX until the
SOAPBOX: grayline started hitting the EU. By that time, the rate was low and it
SOAPBOX: would have taken another three hours to get to a four figure QSO
SOAPBOX: count, so I decided to wrap it up at 23 hours and ~950 QSOs. In that
SOAPBOX: moment, I was called by my former neighbor and friend DL4LAM, which
SOAPBOX: was a pleasant surprise and a perfect time to end the show. 73!
