This is our first contest on HF from our new contest location at Gomila hill in
Mestni vrh, Ptuj. After two years of hard work we built a building, consisting
of two old containers and set up one 25m tall tower.
Although the interior is not completely finished, we decided to compete in the
CQ WW 160M. Antenna setup is very simple, only invL and four beverages in main
directions, placed in a nearby forest about 200-300m away from the TX antenna.
In shack we had three stations with all necessary equipment for inband work.
Although the conditions were not the best, we are very satisfied with our
result. We are convinced that this is just an introduction to a new successful
story :)

Our first result from Gomila is dedicated to the memory of Zlatko, S51MA (SK),
who has been a member of our club for many years and has spent many hours in
building a contest location before he passed away.
