Great Conditions except to Asia. Seemed to be a "Great Wall" blocking
the RF to my QTH. Used 43' elevated vertical and 100w. Thanks go to the digital
filtering in my IC7600 and the MMTTY demod special settings for so many QSO's
through the QRM. Much more fun than operating the newer digital modes. Made my
1st RTTY QSO's back in 1966 using a TT Model 14. Ah...the smell of hot machine
oil and the shudder of the house when I hit a carriage return (smile) Memories
were 'punch-tape' loops and most of us built our own demodulators. 100vdc was
used to switch between mark and space!
