Comments:
Poor conditions on 7 MHz. Skip length stretched
to the British SW-corner, but no CWT activity
there... 3.5 MHz had a good yield with mediocre
signals, except LZ1HW being strongest on both bands.
Went back to 40 m at 1940Z with EA4OR as the only
one. The last 15 minutes on 80 was a disaster, with
G3WRO(?) fading in/out, and finally when HB9EGA
called me with a good signal, the dot-wire of the
paddle "jumped off", so I went for a 3 minute outing
with the soldering iron. Still 3 minutes of CQ CWT,
