Comments:
Murphy strikes in mysterious ways. All equipment and antennas played well.
Unfortunately not so for the operator. Developed bronchitis on Friday morning.
Saw the doctor Friday afternoon. Got anti-biotics ( which didn't kick in until
after the contest). Friday night I broke a tooth. Extraction scheduled for
Thursday!
I lost 6 hours Saturday night due to oversleeping. ( side effect of meds)
Antennas that never played well on 160m and 80m seemed to be dynamite this
weekend. Everything that I called came back on first try !!!! Sorry that I
didn't go to 160m early. 160m and 80m were so quiet, that I never needed a
beverage
