Comments:

The main mission of our team of 2 ops. was to upgrade and test the station.
In fact, this was the first time when two 1kW amps were used in the shack.

Of course, we were pleased to offer an unique mult in the ARRL CW.
We were not exactly score-oriented.
Instead, we preferred comfort-oriented style with enough
sleep and good dinners between the pileups.

Stn1: Icom 7600 + a refurbished Alpha 374
Stn2: Yaesu FT-1000MP + Alpha 91beta

Antennas: (2 towers, 18m each)
10-15-20: KT36XA and Cushcraft A4s, both up 18m
40: 2 el shortened yagi up 20m
80: Inverted-V, apex at 16m
160: Half-sloper, apex at 17m.
A brand new 200m beverage to NA

We also tested (and approved!!)the new RX antenna system
for 160-80-40 from RemoteQTH.com.
It allows use of 7 separate listening antennas on any of
these 3 bands thru in-built band-pass filters..

Good news: Our beverage was fantastic. A New World opened for us on 160 !
Our band-pass filters (before and after the amps) allowed clean reception on all
bands.

Bad news: Ten was closed, just 2 QSOs there.

Thanks to our host Marenga, PU0FDN adn his XYL Lola who took, again,
a good care of us.

Thanks also to Julio, PP2BT and Luciano, PY8AZT and the rest of the
Noronha Contest Group who had left equipment to the shack
to be used by us.

73, until the next one,

Renner PY7RP
Ville PY2ZEA, OH2MM
