Comments:
I admit it -- this was more fun than any contest I've been in recently. Why?
Maybe it's because this is only my 3rd RTTY contest, but mainly, it was because
most of our team members in the Deep Dixie Contest Club (DDCC) were using the
Contest Online Scoreboard and were chasing each other. The result: several
team members had their best scores ever.
Now, we have a club target for the next RTTY NAQP!
The weather here in NE MS has been horrible. Several flooded streets,
evacuations from homes, and we had tornado threats today. Thunderstorms all
around, yet we persevered--safely. Thankful that all club members are safe
after the major storms (for 4 days solid) have passed through. Most schools in
NE MS dismissed due to the high waters.
