I thought I would try QRP, 20 watts PEP from a sangean sgc2020 radio, to my 120
foot inverted L with 3 120 foot buried radials. Conditions Friday night were
great to eastern Europe, the carribean, and mexico. What helped was the
increase in activity from 1900-1999khz, the quieter part of the topband.I was
disappointed from the lack of activity from 7 land, NWT,VO1,KL7. I did not even
hear any Dakota stations. But, I did manage to snag Hawaii.
