Saturday afternoon I replaced the feed to the NE/SW beverage antennas and
realized that RFI, which I had blamed on invisible external sources, was
actually coming from a wiring error at the pre-amp in the shack. Since it just
happened to be Stew Perry weekend there was no choice but to get on the air. I
was thrilled to work a couple dozen weak EU stations using the newly repaired
antenna. Just in time for Spring/Summer QRN. I think the longest distances were
UY0ZG and KH7B.
