Comments:
Band conditions here were challenging to say the least! When 80 meters is the
top band for Qs and multipliers you know it isn’t going to be but so good.
Twenty meters was pretty much dead on Sunday for me and forty meters wasn’t
too far behind. I don’t ever run low power in contests and I’m not sure that
was a good choice this time, given the conditions. I think I could have done a
lot better on Saturday into Europe and picked up a lot more QSOs and
multipliers. But, with that said, it was a lot of fun and is always a good time.
I think next year I’m going to do something totally different! Thanks to all
the Sterling Park ARC members who make the VA QSO Party such a good time and one
of the top parties in the country. Congratulations!
