Comments:
I didn't start setting up my portable station until after 1900. I put up my
26ft endfed and Alpha Antenna FMJ vertical in the backyard. My Yaesu FT-991A
was on the dining table. By the time I finished setting up the rig and antennas
and dealt with a few Murphy's, there was only about 9 minutes left to operate.
I made a few QSOs with each antenna so it was a good test. I hope to put in a
full hour at 0300 tonight. We are leaving this Saturday for our 3 month EU trip
where I will be operating this rig primarily in France and Italy.
