SCORE About right. WORKED 44 STATES, 1 VE, 1 DX. One bonus station.
STOPPED TO RUN COUNTIES.
Was doing both AR QP and Parks on the Air - running 4 parks along the way.
Weather was OK but rained on and off, and drizzled most of day. No sun.
Conditions were "OK" but not great - at bottom of sunspot cycle.
Stayed on 20 and 40M (but made 30 QSO on 30M for the park chasers not counted in
score). No DX rolling in other than a loud TM6M.
Missed AK, HI, NV, ND, RI, and every VE other than VE3. Only caught 8 AR
counties.
Ran 312 miles - just over 11 gallons of gas - from SW corner of AR to NE corner.
Was on my way to Dayton Hamvention.
Use FLE for logging and it doesn't compute score......so it was paper and
pencil.
