Bands were really dead. Started on 40. The average signal strength was S5. A
few S7; and a couple S9. NN$K was just a whisper. K3WJV was 589. NT6Q was
599+. KC4D and WT9U were 599. QRN from the approaching thunderstorm, so needed
repeats. There were quite a few new guys on. Had 79 QSOs at 1328Z.
I reverded back to Flex 2.4.9 and never once had a problem with sending or being
stuck in TX mode and having to hit escape or F1. What a relief! Of course,
the SteppIR did not work on 40. I wrote the CEO a week ago, but not response.
