Comments:

FT8 has allowed me to work many more grids than in the past. The downside, of
course, is that is is a lot slower, there's a lot of QRM on 50313, and it's hard
to get people to QSY to other bands. I switched to SSB and CW when there was
strong openings. For tropo propagation FT8 was very useful, allowing many QSOs
and mults out past 400 miles with ease. I didn't try it on 222 or 432.

The E skip openings on 6m were plentiful, but there weren't any especially
strong AND long lasting openings this year. I had rain on Sunday that made 2m
noisy. I tried meteor scatter in the morning but that was a bust.
