Comments:

Tonite was the real test of folks' weak signal copying. I'm visiting in Chatham,
MA, on Cape Cod, and dragged along the HamStick collection to get on the air.
Operated from inside the house through 50' of RG8-X to the antennas on the car.

N4AF got the "heard before the start on 15" award, but nothing heard
when the contest started. Only a couple of west coast guys on 20, regularly got
beat out on the other bands. 80 was the "best" band in spite of the
least efficient antenna there.

Heard Al in MA once, out of sync, but missed the chance to give W1FJ the super
rare (for him) MA multiplier.

Quite a step down from my HamStick NS last September from Asheville, NC.

I'm planning to spend a little time over the weekend in IARU seeing just how
loud the EU stations can be in Eastern MA.
